The present invention relates to a steering column assembly for a vehicle. According to the present invention. the steering column assembly for a vehicle comprises: a column housing coupled to the outer circumferential face of a tube into which a steering column is inserted and in which a pair of operating force deviation improvement slits are formed along a longitudinal direction; a mounting bracket disposed to touch the column housing and mounted on a vehicle body; a pair of tilt brackets positioned on both sides of the column housing, each end of which is fixed in the mounting bracket and in which tilting guide slits are formed, respectively; an adjustment bolt which penetrates the operating force deviation improvement slits and the tilting guide slits; and a pressurizing member installed in the adjustment bolt to confine and selectively constrain the column housing. Accordingly, the level of force necessary to operate a tilt lever for fixing a steering wheel can be continuously maintained. |
