The shock of a floor of a lift channel on an elevator car can be absorbed without the need of arranging a buffer under the bottom surface of an elevator car. An elevator system is provided and comprises a car chamber ascending and descending in the lift channel. The elevator system comprises a shock absorption part which is disposed on the outside of the side of the car chamber and protrudes upward from the upper end of the car chamber and downward from the lower end of the car chamber, and is used for absorbing the shock from a ceiling or the floor of the lift channel. |
