PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathroom structure for attaining barrier-free properties, especially for older people and physically handicapped people.SOLUTION: Except when bathing, a bathtub edge is stored inside a pit 4 by lowering an upper end part 3a to a position being flush with a floor surface 2. In a case of bathing, a lower end part 3b is elevated to a position being abutted to a projection part 4a, to thereby run hot water for a bathtub space 1b formed by the inner side of the bathtub edge 3 and the floor surface 2. A chair 5 is lowered into the pit 4 at a position where the upper surface of a backrest part 5b is flush with the floor surface 2 in storage. In the case of bathing, the upper surface of a lower end part 5f of a leg part 5d is elevated to a position being abutted to a seal member 6e, to thereby enable a bathing person to perform bathing in a seated state while securing sealability. |
