摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel single crystal particle of a titanium oxide and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The single crystal particle of a titanium oxide has preferably a one dimensional tunnel structure of a monoclinic space group C2/m and is represented by the chemical formula HTiO. The single crystal particle of the titanium oxide can be synthesized by using a single crystal particle NaTiOor NaTiOas a starting material. The electricity storage device using an electrode containing an electrode active material made of the single crystal particle of the titanium oxide as a structural member is excellent in charge and discharge cycle characteristics and is expected to have high capacity.
