PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refractory material suitable for a steel continuous casting nozzle, which does not need blow of any gas, which causes no erosion and which can keep a block preventing effect long, and a steel continuous-casting nozzle using said refractory material.SOLUTION: A refractory material for a steel continuous casting nozzle is characterized in that it is composed of 75 to 97 mass % of MgO-AlOgroup spinel, and 3 to 25 mass% of wollastonite.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
