The invention relates to pneumatic vehicle tyres having a long service life. A bead reinforcement (5) with reinforcements (18) made of pressure-resistant steel cord is arranged in the tyre bead (1) between the carcass ply (4) and the bead filler (3) and which extends along the outer side of the carcass ply (4) until below the stabliser belts (6, 7) and cover a maximum 30 % of the entire width of the tyre belt. The end area of the bead reinforcement (5) which is in the form of an insulation layer is coupled to the stabliser belts (6, 7) which are arranged above and as a result, the movability of the stablizer belts (6, 7) is greatly reduced with respect to each other. |
