The present invention relates to a haptic actuator for generating vibration, and more specifically, to a vibration actuator capable of reducing falling time of vibration after a power applied thereto is blocked while remaining a vibration force. The haptic actuator of the present invention generates vibration by using an electromagnetic force generated by magnets and coils. The haptic actuator comprises: a case formed with an accommodation space therein; a fixed member fixed and mounted on the case; a vibrator vibrating in a horizontal direction around the fixed member in the accommodation space; an elastic member bent for several times for elastically supporting the vibrator so that the vibrator remains the initial position; and an insertion member inserted and arranged in a corrugated part which is formed by bending the elastic member. When the vibrator vibrates in a horizontal direction by elasticity of the elastic member after the electromagnetic force is removed, the insertion member reduces falling time of the vibrator against the elasticity of the elastic member. |
