PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric made of FRP having an excellent strength, and to provide a molding material obtained by using a woven fabric made of FRP in which problems in appearance and strength are not raised even when it is formed into any three-dimensional shape by hot press molding or the like.SOLUTION: The woven fabric made of FRP is manufactured using an FRP tape, as a weaving yarn, obtained by impregnating a reinforcing fiber filament bundle of continuous filaments aligned in a longitudinal direction with a matrix resin composed of a thermoplastic resin and curing the coating. An FRP tape is used as the FRP tape in which: a volume fraction of the reinforcing fiber is 10-60%; a ratio of the number of fiber yarns at least 50% or more of an outer peripheral surface of each reinforcing fiber yarn is covered with the matrix resin is 98-100%; the thickness of the tape is 100-5000 μm; and a maximum value of a specific tensile strength is 100 MPa or more in a tensile test according to JIS K 7165. Further, the fabric is woven using the FRP tape so that it has an opening ratio of 30% or less. |
