Heating system (1) for a beverage processing system, comprises a beverage stream (2) from a beverage to be processed, a secondary current (3) of a heat transfer medium, where the secondary current is conducted in a secondary circuit, at least one heat exchanger (6) which is traversed by the secondary current and is arranged such that the heat exchanger is able to deliver heat to the beverage stream, and an incineration system (10) that is arranged in the secondary current such that the heat generated by the incineration system is further transferred to the heat transfer medium. An independent claim is also included for heating the beverages with the incineration system in the heating system. |
