The present invention relates to a laser spot shape modification member which modifies the shape of a laser spot such that more energy is supplied to an edge part of a cutting edge of glass, and to a surface treatment apparatus which treats the surface of a cutting edge of glass by using the same. A laser spot shape modification member according to an embodiment of the present invention is to modify the shape of a laser spot irradiated from a surface treatment apparatus by being provided in a surface treatment apparatus which surface-treats a cutting edge of glass by using a laser spot, wherein an aperture is formed to pass through a laser beam of a larger size at an outer side than the center of the cutting edge of glass in the thickness direction of the cutting edge of glass.
