PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an inspection of a light reception unit that includes a reception circuit in which amplifier circuits amplifying an electric signal input from a side of a light reception element and outputting the amplified electric signal are multistagedly connected.SOLUTION: An inspection device comprises: a signal generation unit that generates an input signal to be input to each partial circuit serving as an inspection unit, letting each of partial circuits obtained by partitioning a reception circuit into a plurality of segments so as to include at least one amplifier circuit be the inspection unit; a first processing unit that acquires an output signal output from each partial circuit with respect to the input signal, and performs processing for checking an amplification factor for each partial circuit on the basis of the input signal and output signal; and a second processing unit that inputs an inspection optical signal to the light reception element, and performs processing for checking an operation of a light reception unit on the basis of a signal output from the reception circuit. |
