<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the downsizing and unfailingly interrupt a current when a circuit is open thereby ensuring the safety of an electronic apparatus in a breaker used as a protection device of a secondary battery or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A breaker includes: a fixed piece 2 having a fixed contact 21; a movable piece 4 which has an elastic part 43 elastically deforming and a movable contact 3 located at a tip of the elastic part 43 and presses the movable contact 3 to the fixed contact 21 to place the movable contact 3 in contact with the fixed contact 21; a thermally-actuated element 5 which deforms in conjunction with the temperature change thereby operating the movable piece 4 so that the movable contact 3 separates from the fixed contact 21; and a resin base 71 housing those components. The thermally-actuated element 5 has a body part 50 guided by a frame 75 formed on the resin base 71 during the deformation and a first extending part 51 extending from the body part 50 and contacting with a base end part of the movable piece 4 during the deformation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
