A high-accuracy time synchronization apparatus in an RTLS and a method thereof are provided to enable an RTLS receiver (anchor) to receive clock signal, synchronization signal, power and measure accurate time of arrival information of an RTLS transmitter (tag), thereby performing the high-accuracy time synchronization so as for the current time to be updated as an exact local time value within the range of a sub nano unit error.
