The present invention relates to a degassing device and a degassing method and, more specifically, a degassing device, which reduces the decrease of a temperature of molten steel by raising the temperature of a return gas, and a degassing method. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the degassing device includes: a vacuum tank having an inner space, wherein vacuum is formed in the inner space of the vacuum tank; a deposition pipe deposited in the molten steel in refining of the molten steel by being connected to the lower part of the vacuum tank and including an ascending pipe and a descending pipe; an exhaust pipe connected to the upper part of the vacuum tank, wherein exhaust gas of a high temperature generated in the vacuum tank is discharged through the exhaust pipe; and a return gas pipe partially passing through the inside of the exhaust gas, wherein one end is connected to the ascending pipe. According to the other embodiment of the present invention, the degassing method includes: a step of raising the temperature of the return gas; a step of injecting the return gas wherein the temperature thereof rises into the ascending pipe of the deposition pipe; a step of depositing the deposition pipe into the molten steel; and a step of forming the vacuum by decreasing the pressure of the inner space of the vacuum tank connected to the deposition pipe. |
