The apparatus has a side wall (6) which holds the bottom wall and the set of optical elements (8) in preset distance. The LEDs (1) used as light sources are attached to the inner surface of bottom wall. The side wall has a projecting portion which projects toward the middle portion of space formed by the bottom wall, the sidewall and the set of optical elements. The emission surfaces of LEDs are arranged at the extreme positions to overlap with the projecting portion and are arranged at such positions that they are invisible along a direction vertical to the set of optical elements. |
