PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device and an image forming apparatus that suppress disturbance and defects of images.SOLUTION: When a slide sheet 632 is applied with heat, the slide sheet 632 is expanded at cuts 6321 to be overlapped on top of the other, so as to prevent wrinkles on the slide sheet 632 at the entrance of a nip part Np and at the nip part Np, and thereby disturbance and defects of images can be suppressed. In the case where a direction of the cuts 6321 is substantially parallel to a conveyance direction of paper P, when the slide sheet 632 is pulled in the conveyance direction, wrinkles due to the spread of the cuts 6321 are reduced. |
