Provided are: a pigment composition that contains a pigment and a compound represented by general formula (A) and is such that by means of the pigment composition, it is possible to form a colored pattern having superior dispersion stability and superior heat resistance at extremely high temperatures; a pigment dispersion composition; a method for producing same; and a colored curable composition. In general formula (A), P1 represents a dye residue. X1 represents a divalent linking group. Y1 represents: a basic group having a nitrogen atom directly bonded to a tertiary carbon atom and a primary carbon atom, a nitrogen atom directly bonded to two secondary carbon atoms, or a nitrogen atom directly bonded to two tertiary carbon atoms; a basic group represented by general formula (6-3) or (6-4); or a basic group having a pKa of the conjugate acid of at least 2.0 and less than 7.5. The pKa of the conjugate acid of compound (A) refers to that of the group having the highest basicity present in compound (A). The n represents an integer from 1 to 4.
