The present invention relates to a vacuum pump used for a vacuum-packing machine to vacuum-pack food or clothing and, more specifically, relates to a vacuum pump for a vacuum packing machine including a vacuum sensing unit, capable of improving the convenience of installation and simplifying components by including a vacuum sensing unit, sensing a vacuum degree to stop inhalation for vacuum-packing, and a vacuum releasing unit releasing vacuum for the next vacuum-packing. According to the present invention, the vacuum pump includes: a body including an inlet connected to the inside of a vacuum pack, and an outlet connected to the outside; a main body inhaling inner air of the vacuum pack through the inlet to discharge the air through the outlet by generating inhalation force through the operation of an operating motor; and a vacuum sensing unit sensing a vacuum degree by being placed in a connection passage connected to another connection passage connecting the inlet and outlet of the body. |
