PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and efficient biomass power generation system for supplying steam generated in a boiler directly to a thermal decomposition gasification unit, capable of eliminating the generation of an excessive amount of gas such as methane gas due to deviation in temperature distribution of a gasification region caused by the excess or deficiency of heat.SOLUTION: A power generation unit includes a carbonization furnace for carbonizing a biomass by heating, a superheated steam generation unit for generating superheated steam by heating steam, a thermal decomposition gasification unit for generating a thermal decomposition gas by heating the superheated steam supplied from the superheated steam generation unit and a carbide obtained through carbonization in the carbonization furnace by the flue gas generated from the carbonization furnace, and a power generation unit for obtaining power by power generation using purified water gas through heat exchange with the thermal decomposition gas. The thermal decomposition gasification unit includes an outer cylinder, an inner cylinder disposed inside the outer cylinder, a turntable rotatably disposed at the bottom of the inner cylinder, and a thermal storage projection disposed at the rotation center of the turntable across a gap from the peripheral wall. |
