<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust control device of a multi-cylinder engine, the device capable of sufficiently exhibiting an ejector effect with simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust control device has a plurality of independent exhaust channels connected exhaust ports of one cylinder or of a plurality of cylinders in which exhaust order is not continuous and a mixing pipe 54 including a collecting part 54d in which a downstream side in an exhaust circulation direction is gradually reduced in a diameter. The exhaust control device is introduced into the upstream side part of the mixing pipe 54 with downstream ends A of the respective independent exhaust channels bundled. Parts facing the inner peripheral surface of the mixing pipe 54 of the wall parts defining the downstream ends A of the respective independent discharge channels are eliminated. The downstream ends A of the respective independent exhaust channels and the collecting part 54d overlap in the exhaust circulation direction. A moving means moving at least one of the independent exhaust channels and the mixing pipe 54 in the exhaust circulation direction is arranged such that the overlapping quantity L changes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
