The embodiment provides a display apparatus and a display method. More specifically, the present invention relates to a display apparatus to provide a multi-window screen image and a display method for the same. The display apparatus includes a display configured to display a multi-window screen image having a plurality of windows; and a controller configured to control the display to change an appearance of at least one of the windows based on a setting provided by a user, and to display the at least one window using the changed appearance.
