Disclosed is an air cleaning system using moss. An air cleaning system installed to an indoor structure having an inlet and outlet includes: an air cleaning filter having a moss filter and a deodorization filter sequentially installed in order from the inlet to outlet to purify air; an indoor environment sensing unit for measuring indoor environment data on at least one of indoor temperature, humidity, illuminance and carbon dioxide concentration; a fan driving unit for driving an inlet ventilation fan installed to the inlet and an outlet ventilation fan installed to the outlet; and a control unit for recognizing an indoor situation based on the indoor environment data to control the operations of the inlet and outlet ventilation fans according to the recognized indoor situation.
