A rack-parallel electric power steering device includes a housing that covers the periphery of a speed reducer, and a drain valve 20 provided in the housing. The drain valve 20 includes a first case 23, a second case 24 mounted to the outer peripheral portion of a bottom portion 23a of the first case 23, and a valve element 22 that closely contacts a bottom surface 23d of the first case 23. A through hole 23h is formed in the bottom portion 23a of the first case 23. The second case 24 includes a bottom portion 24a which is disposed with a gap from the bottom portion 23a of the first case 23 and in which discharge holes 24d are formed. The valve element 22 is an elastic member that blocks an opening portion of the through hole 23h of the first case 23 and that is held between the first case 23 and the second case 24. |
