A hand-held tamper (1) for underfilling ballast of a track is composed of a drive motor (3) having handles (2), and of a tamping pick tube (4) which is attached to said drive motor and is equipped with a cover plate (6). In the said tamping pick tube, an unbalance shaft (8), which can be rotated by the drive motor (3) and is connected to an unbalance (9), is mounted. An oscillation decoupler (14) is arranged between the drive motor (3) and the tamping pick tube (4). |
