Disclosed is an interior permanent magnet synchronous motor. The disclosed interior permanent magnet synchronous motor comprises: a stator; a rotor placed with a specific void from the stator; and a plurality of permanent magnets in the rotor. A groove can be formed in the center of the surface of the permanent magnets in the direction of the axis of the rotor. The present invention is to provide an interior permanent magnet synchronous motor which can reduce the temperature increase of a permanent magnet by an eddy-current core loss of the permanent magnet, increase the coercive force of the permanent magnet, and improve the performance of the motor.
