The invention provides a shipboard binary refrigeration system which achieves the effect of low cost, enables the capacity of an expansion tank to be reduced, can be mounted on a ship, and requires no oil extraction for a refrigerating fluid evaporating pipe disposed in fishrooms. The shipboard binary refrigeration system comprises a high-side refrigerator (20), a low-side refrigerator (40) and refrigerating medium circulation paths (60 and 61). NH3 refrigerating medium in the refrigerating medium circulation path (61) is cooled by Freon R23 of the low-side refrigerator (40) in a refrigerating medium liquidator (52). The refrigerating medium circulation path (60) is connected with a refrigerating medium evaporating pipe disposed in fishrooms (68a~c) which are cooled by the NH3 refrigerating medium to be at the temperature of minus 60 DEG. Therefore, the NH3 refrigerating medium is used for cooling the fishrooms (68a~c), so that the usage of Freon R23 of the low-side refrigerator (40) can be reduced and the capacity of the expansion tank (46, 46') disposed on a low-side refrigerating fluid circulation path (42) can be greatly reduced. |
