<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactify an alignment mechanism that aligns sheets in an exact position and that performs alignment operation at high speed in a short period of time, when the sheets carried out onto a processing tray are aligned. <P>SOLUTION: An alignment means for positioning the sheets carried out onto the processing tray on reference lines in a paper ejection orthogonal direction is configured to align the sheets on a plurality of different reference lines set in the paper ejection orthogonal direction. An alignment operation control means for the alignment means includes: a reference line setting means for selecting the reference lines; and an alignment operation performing means for moving the alignment means from a standby position to an alignment position based on the set reference line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
