The present disclosure relates to an airbag cover (11) for use in an airbag housing assembly (17), the airbag cover (11) comprising a side wall (21), a top portion and a peripheral portion (25), the side wall forming an at least substantially closed circumference, the top portion forming a cover of the at least substantially closed circumference, the peripheral portion extending external of the side wall along at least a part of a circumference of the side wall, thereby forming an extension of the top portion, wherein the airbag cover further comprises at least one abutment member (31, 43, 44), which extends between an underside (33) of the peripheral portion and the side wall, such that the peripheral portion abuts against the side wall via the at least one abutment member, at least when a force is applied to the peripheral portion. The present invention further relates to an airbag housing assembly (17), to a vehicle comprising the airbag cover and/or the airbag housing assembly, and to a method for assembling an airbag housing assembly. |
