The present invention relates to a lighting load driving apparatus driving at least one lighting load of an AC direct type, and a lighting load driving method. The lighting load driving apparatus according to the present invention changes a first dimming control signal inputted from the outside into a second dimming control signal having the same frequency as an AC power supply power source, and controls the brightness of the lighting load according to the second dimming control signal. Therefore, a flicker phenomenon can be prevented. |
