A disposable apron dispenser comprising a stack of folded disposable aprons held within a container 30 comprising a base 34, side walls 36, and an opening 40, each apron is folded into at least two segments and interleaved in a stack such that a lower segment of each apron is interleaved beneath an upper segment of the apron immediately beneath the upper apron in the stack. The apron may comprise a grip portion to enable removal from the dispenser this grip portion extends further than a distal end of the lower segment when folded. The apron may be folded up to four times in the transverse direction and up to five times in the longitudinal direction. The container may be formed of a rigid material with the apron stack vacuum sealed within a flexible plastic cover with a tear seam in the upper surface coinciding with the dispensing opening 40 in a lid 38. The apron stack may be located on a support member 44 spring biased 46 towards the lid. The aprons may fold the lower segment into two further sections with both these sections interleaved below the upper folded segment of the apron beneath. |
