PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire in which operability is enhanced when using a plurality of special modes properly, and to provide an operation mode switching method for enhancing operability in a luminaire including a plurality of special modes.SOLUTION: A luminaire includes a control unit operating in a plurality of special modes, a switch and a light source. When operating in a normal mode, the control unit makes the operation mode of the control unit transit to any one of the special modes, upon receiving a special mode start operation consisting of a plurality of times of operation including depression of the switch. When operating in any one of the special modes, the control unit makes the operation mode transit cyclically among the plurality of special modes, every time when receiving a special mode switching operation consisting of an operation of at least a part of the special mode start operation. |
