<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device and a printing method that are capable of at least increasing a printing speed according to the direction of a lens sheet or making printing accuracy satisfactory. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 20 has a printing head 24, relatively moves with respect to the lens sheet 10 having a plurality of projection lenses 11 whose one direction extends along its length, and prints by injecting ink from the print head 24. The printer 20 comprises: moving means 28 for moving the print head 24; and control means 51 for exerting control so as to change the moving speed of the print head 24 according a direction in which the lens sheet 10 is set. The control means 51 exerts control such that when the print head 24 prints by moving perpendicular to the one direction of the lens sheet 10, the moving speed of the print head 24 is made slower than the case where the print head 24 prints by moving parallel to the one direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
