摘要 |
The present invention relates to a device for pulse-width modulation of signals. It consists of a binary scaler (1) provided with an input (6) for a timing clock signal and an array of N-1 two-input coincidence gates (2.1 to 2.N-1) connected in a single or more cascades (3), wherein N represents the number of outputs (4.1 to 4.N) of the binary scaler (1). The PWM signal generator is designed so that the individual values of the mark-to-space ratio are logarithmically scaled up. The generator outputs (5.1 to 5.N) provide the entire spectrum of the PWM signals with the logarithmically scaled up mark-to-space ratio. The invention can be particularly used for the control of the LEDs brightness. |
