Disclosed are a mobile terminal using a flexible display and a control method thereof. According to the present invention, when the terminal is opened, first screen information is displayed, corresponding to a first application, in a first display area which is arranged in an inner surface of the terminal. When a folding event occurs in a certain area, a control unit of the terminal is able to switch the first screen information to second screen information related to the first screen information. In addition, if an included angle of the first display area, corresponding to the folding event, is less than a standard range, the control unit is able to switch the first or the second screen information to third screen information which is different from the second screen information. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a display method of a screen is able to be easily switched by folding/unfolding a flexible display. |
