The present invention relates to a heat pump and, more specifically, to a heat pump capable of separately operating multiple indoor units for heating or cooling. The heat pump according to the idea of the present invention includes: an outdoor units including a compressor and an outdoor heat exchanger; the multiple indoor units formed to be operated in a cooling mode or in a heating mode; an indoor unit mode control unit controlling each of the multiple indoor units to be operated in the cooling mode or in the heating mode; and a passage switching device connected to a first coolant pipe and a second coolant pipe continued from the outdoor unit, connected to a high-pressure gas pipe and a low-pressure gas pipe connected to the indoor unit mode control unit, and changing a coolant passage by selectively connecting all or some of the first coolant pipe, the second coolant pipe, the high-pressure gas pipe, and the low-pressure gas pipe in accordance with the mode of the indoor units.
