Provided is a lithium secondary battery. More specifically, provided is a lithium secondary battery with excellent cycle lifespan characteristics and output properties, by increasing electrolyte impregnating properties even under the high density electrode. To this end, the lithium secondary battery includes: a positive electrode composed of a positive electrode active material, and a salt additive; a negative electrode; and an electrolyte composed of a lithium salt and an organic solvent.
