A motor vehicle is supposed to comprise a forward vehicle section and a rear vehicle section which are connected to one another via a steerable articulation. Sensors (M1, M2, M3, M4) register signals (aS, v, dC1, dC2) which describe at least one handling-related magnitude for the vehicle. An evaluation module (310) receives the signals (aS, v, dC1, dC2) and assesses on the basis thereof a current driving situation for the vehicle. A calculation module (320) receives the signals (aS, v, dC1, dC2) and derives on the basis thereof respective set-point values (p'1, p'2, p'3,..., p'n) for a set of parameters for the vehicle. The evaluation module (310) also receives magnitudes (p1, p2, p3,..., p'n) measured in the vehicle which correspond to said set of parameters, compares the measured magnitudes (p1, p2, p3,..., pn) with the set-point values (p'1, p'2, p'3,..., p'n) and assesses on the basis thereof a current driving situation (?) for the vehicle. Provided that the driving situation (?) fulfils a handling criterion, an action module (330) generates a control signal (Saction) adapted to causing at least one handling-related form of action intended to mitigate an undesired behaviour of the vehicle. |
