摘要 An inkjet printer includes a print head, a nozzle position specifying section and a print control section. The print head includes a plurality of nozzles to eject ink. The nozzle position specifying section is configured to specify a position of a first nozzle that exhibits defective ejection. The print control section is configured to print dots in a plurality of sizes. The print control section is configured to change a dot size of a dot to be printed by a second nozzle, which is positioned adjacent to the first nozzle, to a larger size than a dot size specified in an image data, and to change a dot size of a dot to be printed by a third nozzle, which is positioned adjacent to the second nozzle, to a smaller size than the dot to be printed by the second nozzle after the change.

An inkjet printer comprising: a print head including a plurality of nozzles to eject ink; a nozzle position specifying section configured to specify a position of a first nozzle of the plurality of nozzles that exhibits defective ejection of the ink; and a print control section configured to print dots in a plurality of sizes by ejecting the ink from the plurality of nozzles, the print control section being configured to change a dot size of a dot to be printed by a second nozzle, which is positioned adjacent to the first nozzle that was specified, to a larger size than a dot size specified in an image data, and to change a dot size of a dot to be printed by a third nozzle, which is positioned adjacent to the second nozzle with the second nozzle being disposed between the first nozzle and the third nozzle, to a smaller size than the dot to be printed by the second nozzle after the change, the print control section being configured to compute an ink ejection amount in a predetermined region to be printed at least by the fist nozzle based on the image data, and to vary a ratio of dots to be printed by the second nozzle for which the dot size is not changed from the dot size specified in the image data based on the ink ejection amount in the predetermined region.
