1. A wireless communication method in which a first wireless communication apparatus performs data communication with a second wireless communication apparatus by using a plurality of transmission channels formed by spatial multiplexing, the method comprising the steps of:
changing by the first wireless communication apparatus, which is communicating with the second wireless communication apparatus, from communicating via a third wireless communication apparatus to directly communicating with the second wireless communication apparatus without utilizing the third wireless communication apparatus; and executing a calibration process of forming the plurality of transmission channels between the first wireless communication apparatus and the second wireless communication apparatus in response to the changing to directly communicating, wherein the calibration process includes calculating a weight of each reference signal to be multiplexed.
