sending a message to the subscriber device before delivery of a short messaging service (SMS) message that the SMS message contains textual data and at least one of image data or audio data; receiving from the subscriber device a request that only a portion of the SMS message be forwarded to the subscriber device; and forwarding only the portion of the SMS message to the subscriber device based on the request.
