主权项 1. A bipolar electrocautery apparatus, comprising: a plurality of opposed bipolar electrode pairs comprising a plurality of first electrodes forming a first electrode array and one or more second electrodes; a power supply electrically coupled to at least one opposed bipolar electrode pair of the plurality of opposed bipolar electrode pairs; and a compensator module comprising: one or more feedback devices configured to detect a voltage, a current, a phase magnitude, and a phase sign of energy supplied to the at least one opposed bipolar electrode pair by the power supply;a calculation module configured to calculate a power, a phase, and an impedance based on the voltage, current, phase magnitude, and phase sign in order to sense an amount of tissue coverage between the at least one opposed bipolar electrode pair; anda control circuit configured to generate a control signal for controlling the supply energy supplied to the at least one opposed bipolar electrode pair by the power supply based on user-determined set-point information and the calculated power, phase, and impedance from the calculation module, the control signal generated by the control circuit operable to adjust the impedance by changing a frequency of the energy supplied by the power supply across the at least one opposed bipolar electrode pair in response to sensing that the amount of tissue coverage between the at least one opposed bipolar electrode pair is less than a full amount of coverage possible for the at least one opposed bipolar electrode pair.
