The present invention relates to a cock sterilization device for a water purifier and a cock sterilization method using the same. According to the present invention, sterilization is performed with hot water supplied to inner and outer sides of a water purifier cock, and thus the sterilization can be performed without cock separation. The cock sterilization device for a water purifier according to the present invention includes: a tubular sterilization cap with an open upper surface, the sterilization cap being separably mounted on the outer side of the cock where cold water or the hot water is discharged; and a hot water supply unit which supplies the hot water through the cock in a state where the sterilization cap is mounted on the cock. |
