PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus comprising a fixation device of an induction heating system with an open magnetic path structure, which is capable of preventing a fixation failure generated when the input electric energy is limited for prevention of flux saturation of a magnetic core.SOLUTION: The drive frequency of an AC current flowed through an exciting coil is changed according to the necessary electric power to enable the input of the necessary electric power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
