PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a node capable of collecting the information, required for establishment of protection upon occurrence of a failure.SOLUTION: A node is constituted to include communication means 1, information collection means 2, and information generation means 3. The communication means 1 performs communication of wavelength multiplexed optical signals with other node, via a plurality of routes. The information collection means 2 collects the information of wavelength and routes used for communication by other node, as the first protection information from other node. The information generation means 3 generates the information about the communication path for each wavelength of the optical signal and each optical signal, as the second protection information, based on the information of wavelength and routes used by own device for communication with other node, and the first protection information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
