PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of detecting a carrying state of singled-sheet paper, in the printer for executing various printing controls, with read information, by reading a code provided on the singled-sheet paper by a code reader.SOLUTION: A printer comprises a paper feeding part A for feeding singled-sheet paper P, a feeder board 32 for constituting a part of the paper feeding part A and capable of continuously supplying the singled-sheet paper P, a code reader 33 provided in the paper feeding part A and capable of reading a code provided on the singled-sheet paper P, a printing part B for printing the singled-sheet paper P supplied from the feeder board 32, and a control part 80 for controlling printing of the printing part B with information read by the code reader 33. The code reader 33 is provided on the feeder board 32, and the control part 80 can detect a carrying state of the singled-sheet paper P with the information reade by the code reader 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
