PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power efficiency in a field winding type AC rotary electric machine by performing simple control.SOLUTION: A controller 40 controlling field current flowing in a field winding 11 is applied to a motor 10 comprising: a rotor 12 including field winding 11; and a rotor 13 including armature winding groups 10a, 10b. While a prescribed supply voltage is applied to the armature winding groups 10a, 10b, the field current is controlled to be the minimum field current value in which deviation between amplitude of induction voltage generated in the armature winding groups 10a, 10b with the rotation of the rotor 12 and amplitude of the supply voltage is the prescribed value or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
