PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of suppressing deterioration of engine startability.SOLUTION: In step S6, an ECU 11 determines whether the output power Wsub of a low-voltage battery is larger than the output power threshold value Wsub,t of the low-voltage battery. When the output power Wsub is larger than the output power threshold value Wsub,t, there is no extra power to be output from the low-voltage battery and, thus, in step S7, the ECU 11 drives a step-down DC/DC converter 2. When the output power Wsub is equal to or less than the output power threshold value Wsub,t, it is thought that there is extra power to be output from the low-voltage battery and, thus, in step S8, the ECU 11 stops the step-down DC/DC converter 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
