PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display medium having an excellent forgery prevention effect, decorative effect, and/or aesthetic effect that an image displayed during observation under transmitted light is hardly raised from a surface when the display medium is observed from an oblique direction, and a transfer foil and an article provided therewith.SOLUTION: At least one of a plurality of pixels includes a laminate structure in which a relief structure formation layer, a first layer, and a second layer are laminated in the order stated, and has a hologram image area and a watermark image area, the watermark image area further having a first area and a second area, the relief structure formation layer being provided with a plurality of concave and/or convex portions on one surface thereof, the plurality of concave and/or convex portions being provided so that the diffuse reflectance of the first area and the diffuse reflectance of a substrate to which the display medium is attached are equal in the first area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
