PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller capable of preventing an operator from wrongly operating (sometimes referred to as misoperation) an operation unit which he or she does not intend to operate.SOLUTION: A remote controller 1 comprises: plural operation units 10; plural detectors 20 including a sensor for detecting the approach of a human body; and control means 30 which invalidates operation of at least some of the operation units 10 on the basis of the states of the respective detectors 20.
