PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress delay of monitoring by surely and promptly distributing (leveling) loads in a plurality of monitoring parts.SOLUTION: An object monitoring device comprises: a plurality of area tracking parts 4 each for analyzing an image obtained by imaging an area in charge to detect a moving object, outputting object information including the number of detected objects, and acquiring a change instruction for the area in charge to change the area in charge; and a load change part 521 for acquiring the object information from the area tracking parts 4 to detect a high load monitoring part of which the load level of processing is equal to or higher than a predetermined level and a low load monitoring part of which the load level of processing is lower than the predetermined level, transmitting to the low load monitoring part a change instruction for adding a partial area that is a part of an area in charge for the high load monitoring part to an area in charge for the low load monitoring part, and transmitting to the high load monitoring part a change instruction for deleting the partial area from the area in charge for the high load monitoring part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
